Excellent gym for BJJ programs for adults and kids. I transferred both my kids to this location for a year in a half and it’s been fun to watch the growth and how much my kids enjoyed attending this gym. Coach Lucas, (previous) Coach Stephen, Coach Laryssa, Coach Bella are such a great team. They all have a welcoming vibe to their gym. Coach Lucas and Coach Laryssa cares about their students as if they are their own; in class or out on the field during competition. Coach Bella is great in what she’s doing - holding the gym down 😆. It’s feels more like a family when you enter this location. I love their competition team, super competitive and great for advancing the kids. Would absolutely recommend this location to friends and family. - <3 The Vos

Omg!!! This place and Coach Lucas and coach Larissa are the best discovery for us!
My son who never wanted to come here since they go straight to sparring. He never wants to miss a day now.
It took my son only 1 day to fall in love with this place. They show you immediately how to stand up for yourself. My son’s confidence level has been up and he now knows self defense now!
The coaches are amazing. Patience is key and they have abundance of it. What a great team. Bella @ the front office is the sweetest too 💗
I wouldn’t think for a minute before signing up. The most important decision you will make for your kids.

We have visited more than one BJJ facility, each with different perks. But Rockstar South Frisco is by far our favorite for many reasons. One, the energy! Once you walk in, the families are welcoming and engaging. The coaches play a role in this as well, they emit genuine attitude of caring for your kids. Coach Lucas is a natural with the kids, he doesn’t have to say much to be taken serious. He does not take it easy and has high expectations of the kids but it always followed by a pat on the back or smile and words of encouragement. If your child wants to be competitive, this is definitely the place to be as they have a competition team with expectations on attendance to be able to compete. This also comes with advanced classes and ongoing competition training. Essentially, once you are here it becomes family. Couldn’t love it more.

Rockstar South Frisco is an amazing academy for beginners as well as more experienced bjj practitioners. Coach Lucas is great! He is knowledgeable and structured. He and Bella have really created a welcoming vibe and atmosphere for both adults and kids. They really care about the team and the students. I consider these coaches and team family. I researched a lot of gyms before making my decision on where to train and it paid off because Rockstar has truly become a place to call home. Whether you are looking to train to get in shape or you are looking to compete you will find Rockstar has the tools you need. On top of that the team here of training partners is top notch. No egos and no attitudes. A great group of individuals looking to help the team achieve their goals.

Fantastic coaching and world class competition team. Everyone is incredibly friendly and feels like family. The self control and confidence the kids get from training here is immeasurable. We couldn't be happier to be a part of the Rockstar family/ team. I highly recommend for both kids and adults. If you're looking to lose weight and learn an incredible life skill with helpful ego free people, then this is your place!

Best gym in the area come check them out!! Amazing staff who are very passionate about their gym family. Very friendly and welcoming entertainment. The kids and adults love the professor and his teaching style. Mat is visible from inside or outside, the gym is always very clean.

My son has been taking Jiu-Jitsu classes for 1.5 years at Rock Star South Frisco. He never wants to skip his class. Coach Lucas is the best coach ever!! He understands the strengths and weaknesses of every student and works with them to improve. We are so happy with our kid’s improvement overall with technique and his confidence.

My son has been attending Rockstar since he was 3. We love it here and everyone feels like family. Lucas is amazing and has a great passion for his students and jiu jitsu.

We have been enrolled at Rockstar Martial Arts for close to a year now, and I have nothing but praise for this place. Just 5 stars doesn't do this place justice. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe are phenomenal instructors and have taught my kids the value of discipline, diligence, respect, and wellness. My kids have cycled through numerous extra-curricular activities and they easily pick martial arts as their overwhelming favorite. If there is one point I want to emphasize, it's that the instructors really make or break a martial arts facility. Coach Joe and Coach Kenny have been nothing short of friendly, professional, and courteous. They make this a family friendly environment that accommodates all ages. So fittingly, these Rockstar coaches make this a place worth checking out.

Great place for martial arts training! My seven year old daughter started almost a year ago and her confidence level has significantly improved. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe work very well with the kids teaching them mixed martial arts that can be used in real life situations. They also encourage good behavior both at home and at school. After trying numerous sports without much success, we are very happy to have found Rockstar and something that our daughter loves to be a part of.

Hands down the BEST instructors my kids have had since they started Martial Arts about 6 years ago. Coach Kenny, Coach Joe, and Coach Josh have a no nonsense approach that will get your kids out of their comfort zone. This is exactly what I was looking for. The classes are intense, productive, but also fun. Serious respect for these guys, they know their stuff and it shows! Your kids will learn more here than anywhere else.

Love this place! My daughter has been training here for a couple of years and it’s been an amazing experience the entire time. The coaches are incredible not only with the kids, but also in their own personal development and achievements. Ownership is heavily involved in making the experience what it is and always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable on the mat. If you’re thinking about jiu-jitsu or mma, this is the place to be!

My children (girl-age 6 and boy-almost 5) have been attending Rockstar (Phillips Creek) since January 2016. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe are AMAZING! They truly love working with children and how incredible patient in helping each child succeed with building their skills. The coaches are incredibly supportive of the kids and are very concerned about the safety of all the children in the class. Coach Joe and Coach Kenny go out of their way to make the class not only fun, but also a learning experience. Emphasis is placed not only on the physical mastery of the martial arts skills, but also on respect to your belongings (belts), respect of others (family members) and respect of school teachers. Student are rewarded with "stripes" on their belts for not only attendance/ participation/ focus in class, but also notes from parents and teachers alike. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe encourage the kids to do their best and they strike an amazing balance of supporting both children that are competing during grappling matches. If you are looking for a facility that encourages your child in their physical, mental and emotional development, look no further than Rockstar Phillips Creek!

I trained with Rockstar for a long time. After seeing the in’s and outs of their classes and their business procedures - I can confidently say that they are a group of consummate professionals who go above and beyond expectations on the daily. Not only are the coaches on a world class level themselves, but also they take great pride in leading through excellent examples. The coaches are natural born leaders, who hone their craft to absolute pinnacle of the sport. I could not think of a better way to teach a child the fundamental values of disciple, accountability, responsibility, and humility. I wish I would’ve started jiu jitsu through their kids Anti-Bullying Program. I started when I was 19 and I am forever grateful for the all the Coaches and staff for helping me build a better version of myself. Lucas, Tim, Stephen, Holly, and the rest of the staff are truly an incredible team.

Hands down , one of the best and most top notch BJJ gyms in Frisco , Coach Lucas embodies all the qualities of a great BJJ instructor , great guy who is kind , welcoming and knows how to work with you no matter who you as passes his knowledge very well . He does a great job as an instructor , especially with the kids , creating future legends . Coach Lucas is also very creative when it comes to his coaching style and that what makes it so fun to learn from him . If you’re in the Frisco area , I highly encourage y’all to give this place a try and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Can not say enough about the coaches. Joe, Mike, and Kenny take the time to make sure each kid understands what they are doing and are real patient.
They also take the time to ask how the kids are doing outside of class and make sure to stay connected with the families. Our kids love coming to class and have learned so much in a short time. They don't only learn martial arts. They learn leadership skills, discipline, and respect to name a few. I highly recommend this martial arts school.

Rockstar is absolutely amazing! The coaches are wonderful! They focus on teaching self discipline, respect and protection. They are kind, strong men who focus on building up your child. What our school lack teaching our children they make up for in abundance. Definitely the best at their art!

Providing kids, adults, and teens with high level Jiu-jitsu taught by an amazing instructor! Professor Lucas is amazing with his coaching to the kids and adults. It’s a well managed gym, the manager/instructors are great with communicating! I’ve loved my time being here at Rockstar with everyone!!

My son goes to Rockstar martial arts and likes it very much. The instructors are knowledgeable and very friendly. He has learnt being competitive and disciplined. He is now more fit and knows how to defend himself if need arises. We are excited to see him grow and develop everyday. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone!!

After lot of research & visiting each facility, finally signed up my kid for MMA @ Rockstar at this location. My kid love and adore the training/coach.
