When we first started homeschooling I had no idea there were so many ‘days’ to celebrate. Of course I knew about the holidays and breaks, but I didn’t know about all the little days like Dr. Seuss’ birthday or the 100th day of school.
Over the years, I have watched as friends send their kids off to their 100th day of school as a 100 year old or wearing fun shirts with 100 safety pins attached. Some of their shirts are so fun and creative too! If we sent our kids to school, I know I would have to scour Pinterest every year for ideas.
100 Days of School Printables
It wasn’t until a couple of years ago, when we were struggling in our homeschool journey, that I decided we needed to have more fun. Even if it was just to mix things up and give us a break from our normal routine. It was fun to celebrate what we had accomplished and give us a push into the final eighty days of our year.
Our favorite family tradition to celebrate the 100th day of school is by creating a special and fun 100th day of school t-shirt!
